Family & Friends
My parents and aunt were in town for the three weeks at the end of June for my brother's Convocation ceremony. Their presence were a great welcome, as they provided home-cooked meals, beat our flat into shape by adding furniture and curtains, initiating repairs to worn out spots, oh yeah, and adult wisdom which they claim we have yet to master.

My family departed Toronto in two separate days. Which meant we siblings appeared at Pearson Airport in two consecutive days. Regardless, seeing planes depart/arrive, travelers with backpacks checking in, and the unexplainable atmosphere of an airport, is soothing and motivating to work myself to a international grad trip in two years time (and maybe sneaking in a cross-Canada adventure in between).
Within all that frenzy, I managed to squeeze in E.A.'s party and getting an extra Apple gadget. Yes, I got an iPod Touch - a free one! I'd to pay taxes which amounted to $30+ for a usual $319 8GB one. The Back-to-School promo (get a Mac and a complementary iPod for students) began about two weeks after I purchased the Macbook, and when I first discovered the deal, I was annoyed but didn't think that anything could be done. Thanks to Eleanor who rang Apple, for I would never had called to ask for this favour. Clickety-press-touch!

Ooh, good times. Advice, small spaces packed with people amplifies the fun.
