I went to see Travis on April 21 for the second time in two years. It was in the midst of my exam period, but I thought I deserved a birthday treat and an exam booster. Travis damn well knows how to put on a live show! And thanking us "weirdies" for seeing them instead of Kings of Leon and Flight of the Conchords, then encouraging videos to be posted on YouTube, brilliant!
And for sticking it out through the semester, a pat on my back came in the form of a live Patrick Watson concert. He performed in a church that provided an intimate setting with great lighting and acoustics for the show.
In other news, my interview with the Toronto Zoo did not yield a positive outcome. Bugger, it just means summer school for me. I am quite looking forward to it since the courses are French, and at the downtown campus!
