Films, food and... shoes?

The Toronto Singapore Film Festival this year was held very much later in July rather than in April. Why this was so, I will not get into since it brings up negative, almost terrible, feelings towards one particular individual in the organizing committee. In any case, the festival went on this past Friday and Saturday, with its fair share of ups and (more) downs.

How relieve I am that this is now over! The attendance was not as high as last year's but we did have a good time - enjoyed some local delights from home and met more Singaporeans and Malaysians together than Toronto would regularly offer. I will not be signing up for a spot in the TSFF 2011 organizing committee, unless someone capable and friendly takes over and runs TSFF upwards, not down into the ground. I think I just gave away that one particular individual who I have a beef with, but will remain anonymous, still.

Now, moving on with my post-graduation job search for permanent, full-time employment. I am officially in job-hunting mode, but how I hate it already.
