Power outage
Power went out in the mall today, affecting a day's worth of the store operations. We had to clear customers out, some kicking up a fuss. Then, we were put to work to begin this year's store renovations that officially starts tomorrow, shelving in the dark with small book-lights. I had to suppress my OCD and ignore how we were shelving without scanners, only trusting that inventory numbers matched up and that our instincts of where a book should go proved to be accurate.
