Tweeting the 50 Book Pledge
HarperCollins Canada started an interesting initiative, The 50 Book Pledge, to encourage readers to read 50 books this year. I think this will be a fun way to keep track of my books and motivate me to read more and a little faster. I've given my pledge, so help me god for I'm a terribly slow reader. 50 books is about the number of books I've read in the past 3 years since working at Indigo, but if you think about it, with school and work, a book a month for three years is still pretty damn impressive! Well, wish me luck.
